VERBALLY, EMOTIONALLY ABUSED BY PATRON, WHILE PNP STAFF AND CUSTOMERS LOOK ON BY A BLACK MAN

On Sunday, 13 November 2022 at around 12h15, I was in Pnp Sandrige in Midrand, my day to day family supermarket for 13 years. I did my shopping and stood in the line to pay. The customer in front of me was almost done and I packed out my groceries. I turned to the fridge while cashier complete the payment for the customer, to take out 2 x Redbulls and next thing, a big Tall Black man threw his pack of meat infront of the counter, and the cashier saw it. He looked at me and I said but i was in line after the last customer. He said so what, I responded its rude, but allowed him to pay anyway. He then started threatening me...repeating the words Rude, Rude "I will show you what is rude" I responded, what is that supposed to mean? He then started to scream and shouting, F@$%# you multiple times, while the cashier and security and all the customers witness this....You colored people think you better then black people, because you closer to white people. I looked at him and said My God will deal with you and this behaviour, All this happened while everyone looked and witness his screaming and shouting still repeating F@$%# over and over. I thought this man would hit me, and next thing he shouted and everyone could hear, including the cashiers around, which I know for all these years, "You Colored people were is the result of a white man who ****d a black to get you coloreds. I responded My identity is not in my color of my skin and I was helpless against this screaming from him, and asked for help and NO ONE lifted a finger from the staff to try and help me. The man left the shop still swearing me.

I then realized what just played out and the embarassment, trauma and Gender Based Violence that just played out infront of everyone and I was the victim of ****** on a high scale, but sadly NO ONE CAME TO HELP. If Pnp Sanridge is a Family Supermarket, what does my safety and the rest of the customers means then? What if this guy pulled out a gun, knife or any object to hurt me? I got the first manager and said to her how can no one come to help the situation and i was left to vent for myself against this man and his rudeness, while the security looked on? This left me crying and begging the lady how do they do that, while ALL the cashiers witness the incident? How safe are we shopping at the store? So many staff around and no one stopped him from abusing me emotionally, verbally? I cried so much and all the lady said was she is sorry. How can i feel safe again in this shop, with drunk people doing this and NO ONE HELP?
