Verbally attacked

On Monday 19/02/15 during lunch hour there was a lady serving at the deli meat section. I proceeded to stand in line to get some sandwich ham. There was one lady in front of me chatting away to the serving lady about different kinds of salamis and hams. Taking a long time I decided to finish my other shopping first. When I got back to the deli counter they were still at it and now there were other people in line -even the manager was standing by the conversation. I asked someone from the backing section if there was anyone who could help the rest of us in the meantime. She asked the deli serving lady if she could move things along and pointed out that it was my enquiry -she (the deli lady) then came up to me and asked \how can I help you?"I said \""yes I would like R20 worth sandwich ham please\"" At which point everyone in front of me started verbally attacking me about skipping the line! I tried to assure everyone that she can help them first by all means please. But they kept going at it and even the deli serving lady jumped in with the attack while the manager stood by and did nothing. I am extremely shaken about this experience and don't ever want to go back there."""
