Urgent Complaint – Jackal Creek Store Staff Misconduct and Service Failure

I had a shockingly unprofessional experience at Pick n Pay Jackal Creek. The card machine wasn’t working, and the cashier (Siphesihle) repeatedly mocked me, laughing and making comments like “I only have R5” while I tried to pay. The supervisor and manager on duty were unhelpful, without name tags, and refused to give me a proper escalation channel, offering only a no-reply email or the store’s internal email.

The manager acknowledged the mocking but tried to block my complaint instead of resolving the issue. I was even asked to photograph multiple staff email addresses, which raises serious POPIA concerns.

This experience was insulting, disrespectful, and completely avoidable. Pick n Pay needs serious staff training and proper accountability measures at Jackal Creek.
