Unsatisfactory service

When I pay by cheque card the pin is entered and I watch the screen for approval.
On 4th August 2015 immediately the pin was entered the till lady swung the machine to her side,
and said that the request failed and I must re-enter the pin.
I did so, expecting that an e-mail from F.N.B. would advise me if there been two
successive payments of the same value.
Fortunately FNB's computer system did detect this and automatically reversed one withdrawal.

The next day I explained the matter to the P/Pay manager. Here's the response:
PP: Do you mean FNB charged you twice?
Me: No, one of the payments was reversed.
PP: So, what must I do?
Me: I'm merely bringing this to your intention to investigate the matter.
(Her phone rings and she talks to the other person for 5 or more minutes)

PP: Leave your slip here and I'll check.
Me: I need the receipt, make a copy. (She's away more than ten minutes)

PP: I'm only trying to help you.
Me: No, I'm helping you to find out why I was debited twice.

She goes away again and returns with a form for me to complete.
Being lengthy, I told her I did not have more time to waste.
But, warned her that the matter would be reported on the internet.
