Unprofessional Staff & Terrible Service
Greetings
Pick 'n Pay Supermarket at Diepkloof Square has horrible service. I've complained before at Pick 'n Pay Customer Care but I don't think they ever did anything about it.
Today, my elderly mother, a senior citizen was disrespected and given horrible service. The person who did this to her is a supervisor even, her name is Mercy.
I have asked the customer care before, "why do they enter into agreements with banks for us to send our loved ones money via their store, and they don't train or update their staff on the same".
I sent my mother some money via my bank to Pick 'n Pay and when she got there, this Mercy character wouldn't help her. She wouldn't even read the SMS from the bank. My mother had to stand there helpless. Even though she explained to this Mercy (who doesn't live up to her name) that she has processed such transactions before at the very same store.
After what seemed like forever, another staff member, Refilwe, took my mother to another till where she was helped and she received the money I had sent her.
Mercy did not offer any apology. She made my mother, who suffers from high blood pressure very angry, and it was hard to calm her down.
If this is how elderly customers are treated at Pick 'n Pay, I'm appalled.
Today, Refilwe was a hero and Mercy was a moegoe.
Shame on you Mercy. Shame on you Pick 'n Pay Diepkloof Square (because this is not happening for the 1st time and I had reported to Customer Care before).
