Unprofessional

Today 29th September 2015 I did my usual shopping at Pick 'n Pay Epsom Downs and when I got to the till I paid for my groceries and the was no one to pack my groceries. Seeing that there I was the only customer at the till I nicely asked the cashier who's going to pack my stuff. And she folded her hands and rudely told me that I have to wait for a packer. By that time she's pointing at some lady who was already packing for another till. I then told her that the lady is busy packing for another till and then asked her why is she(cashier) not packing for me since there's no one behind me. And she told me that she's not a packer. My question is..was I treated so bad because I'm young and black? Or Sylvia was just being nasty to a customer? I'm a regular customer at Pick 'n Pay Epsom Downs and never received such bad treatment. What I experienced today was a very bad customer service.
