Unhelpfull till packer at Promenade malls pick n pay.

Good day.

I went to pick and pay promenade mall, on the 23 January 2021 Saturday at about 7pm.

I baught some stuff, and went to pay at till 8, the cashiers name is Lynette Dumpies, she is not the one i am complaining about, its the till packer.

I paid for my stuff then scanned my pnp digital app for the points, and asked the packer if i could please get some sanitizer, for my hands ,she put the bottle by me by the tills and put it down, i asked her if she could please spray it on my hands, then she replies, you can spray, then i told her she is suppose to do it its covid regulations that they sray, to prevent the spread of covid from staff and customers, she turned around and pointed to the wall and said there is nothing that sais that, and thats why the security is there, my husband sprayed my hands coz he saw i was getting upset, i said to her im gonna report her, then i walked away, but turned around to ask her her name, she told me she cannot give me her name, she is suppose to have a name badge on for customers to see who is helping tgem, then after i went to a couple of staff looking for the store manager, i found Nelson the store manager, i told him what happened, he said he is sorry for what happened , i told him what if it was a health inspector that was at the till when she did that, i told him i also work in retail and know that it is the staff responsibility to spray hand sanitizer if there is not the one that you dont touch. Nelson gave me the ladies name but i saw it was the cashiers name, he probably thought i was talking about her, but it was the packer not the cashier. Nelson said he will not take it lightly and sort it out.

This is really not appropriate service from pick n pay at all, and i am a customer there for verry long, this is really not on to get treated like this, what was so hard about spraying on my hands, as she touches the bottle, and to prevent the spread of covid, we suppose to follow covid regulations, and to protect us all from covid, staff and customers.
