********* price hikes by retailers
Another retailer hiking prices during lockdown. where is the Competition Commission and why are they not monitoring the abnormal price hikes by these retailers? Arent people suffering enough?

In some cases where the cost price has gone up, we have unfortunately had to adjust the price to reflect the price paid to the manufacturer for new stock.
We are working hard with our suppliers to keep key products available and affordable, and we have committed to the Government that we will do the same.
We value you as a Pick n Pay customer and are committed to improve continually on our service levels.
We appreciate your patience and understanding at this very difficult time.
