********* practice to increase profit!
PICK n PAY *****ING FROM YOU!! CHECK YOUR TILL SLIPS!! Over the last 3 weeks, on 3 separate occasions, I have caught Pick n Pay Bylsbridge and Southdowns guilty of this - is this how they increase their profit margins I have to wonder?? BEWARE!!! The price advertised on the shelf and the price that is actually scanned in at the till and that you pay, are totally different and NOT in your favour - you are being OVERCHARGED!! The first time it was for a slab of chocolate advertised within a promotional POS stand at R22 - I was charged R32 at the till (Bylsbridge). The second for some vegan cheese that was advertised at R70 - I was charged R83 (Southdowns). The third time was for BOS ice tea that was advertised at R19,99 - I was charged R22. After the first incident, I habitually check my till slips and discovered to my dismay that I am continuously overcharged at Pick n Pay. Each time, I have had to enquire about the difference in price and then waste my time trying to sort this out! Not only is this is annoying and a complete waste of my time - it is TOTALLY *********! Every few R that they ***** from you pushes up their profit margins - WATCH OUT!!
