Unauthorized debits on my bank account

I reached out to Pick n Pay on X,to ask why my account was debited on the 29th April 2025.The amount in question was reversed but I'd like to know how they authorized that payment without me approving it .With no OTP sent to me to authorize the payment .A lady called Michaela addressed my query and basically telling me that I should not complain because the money that was debited was reversed .I want to know why did they deduct in the first place and does this mean that my banking details are no longer with the transactions I make whilst using PnPASAP ? PNPASAP can't be non chalant about people monies and account as if no it's no issue.
