UNACCEPTABLE "ASSISTANCE" FROM MANAGEMENT
I called the Pick 'n Pay Hypermarket by the Sea on Monday 15th January 2018 to complain that over the weekend my soda stream gas cylinder had finished so I took out the spare new "fill" gas cylinder that I had gotten from the pick 'n pay hypermarket a few months ago, only to find that after opening it that it was EMPTY. Not only did I have guests over but now had no "soda water" to offer with drinks. I also did not have the slip as it was purchased a few months earlier. The gentleman I spoke to was nice enough and told me to bring the cylinder in and they would replace it. So today at lunch time I managed to drive all the way to the pick 'n pay hypermarket by the sea to get both gas cylinders filled as it's the weekend and I still don't have any soda water at home. I was told by Bryan the Manager to go to the Returns counter and they would replace it for me. I stand in the line and when I finally get to the counter the lady tells me sorry we out of stock... seriously? Why did no-one check before telling me to drive all the way there for NO REASON? I then asked BRYAN the Manager what he intends doing about it and he said nothing! I said can he call the pick 'n pay at the La Lucia Mall and arrange for me to go there for 2 cylinders and he said NO. That was the extent of his assistance. So no gas cylinder and wasted petrol to and from the hypermarket I went to the pick 'n pay at the La Lucia Mall and they had stock but since Bryan refused to contact them they couldn't assist with the replacement cylinder. Seriously is pick 'n pay so busy, do they have enough customers that they can afford such bad publicity and treatment of their customers? Obviously they can and do!
