Unacceptable

I called to the store yesterday and asked Monica why hasn't someone called me yet as I'm still awaiting to hear if the Jimmy's sauce has arrived, I have 2 rain checks which expired the 2nd but nobody has called, thus I'm calling as I have been there twice in your store and there still wasn't stock, my rain checks are for 7 bottles but I only want 5, she took my number and said she will go check & let me know. I found Monica to be very helpful. She called back and told me there's only 1 bottle on the shelf, I said no I want 5, once again she told me she will find some and call me back, which she did. She informed me that she will leave Monday at 5pm but I can get it by her colleague. I was thankful for her great service. Today I confirmed with her that my husband will come and she said he can collect it by Shandre, at the cashiers till Younis (think floor manager) told him the rain checks are expired, he informed her that I spoke to Monica yesterday and Monica is aware of it, Younis went to call Monica and she denied hearing the rain checks were expired. I asked Younis to have the Manager call me, speaking to Ramon he tried to school me about policies and procedures for rain checks, I informed him that I have been receiving rain checks for many items that that store never has, I also said on occasions staff from that branch has called me, he made me out to be a **** by stating they don't call customers, I said well I have received calls, there's no reason for me to lie. He said in the spirit of meeting me half way he will give me 2 bottles, I said no thank you I will rather go buy at checkers, since he wanted to play generous Santa why didn't he use his authority and override all 5 bottles, instead he let R139.99 walk out the door. Brilliant store manager I say, pathetic service as the store should've had the stock in the first place then there would've be no need for rain checks.
