Unable test TV on display at PnP Ottery + No stock

I contacted Pick 'n Pay Ottery yesterday, to confirm whether they had stock of the Hisense LEDN32D33 for R2699, and whether they had a display unit to test, and also whether they had access to the remote. <br> <br> They confirmed that they had the exact model in the brochure ( LEDN32D33 the model with the center stand), and that they had the remote for testing. I needed to be sure of this, as I live about 50KM away from PnP Ottery.<br> <br> When I got there today, I was told that they didn't have the remote, making it impossible for me to test the TV. On top of that, the model they have on display is completely different from the one in stock. <br> <br> This leads me to wonder whether PnP Ottery ever sells TVs, or if their customers simply purchase TVs blindly, given that the TV on display is not the one they'd actually get if they purchased it. <br> <br> How can you be sure a TV is suitable without being able to test it?<br> <br> In contrast I have to say they service levels at PNP Canal Walk were 1 000 000x better, unfortunately they don't stock the Hisense TV.<br> <br> As for the Hisense TV, my decision was made for me, I'll take my business to a company that actually wants my business. <br> <br> Complete waste of my time and petrol.
