TWO hours Queue because of short staffed..
My name is Ayanda and I reside in diepkloof zone 4.
On the 25th of March 4PM I went to Diepkloof zone 4 pick and pay to buy a few groceries.. I stood in the queue for a FULL TWO hours.. My body hurts ,My feet are sore and swollen ..My backside is also sore ..This is unacceptable and ridiculous.
There were only 3 ladies working at the till .. Today is the 25th, A lot of people get paid on the “25” meaning there is going to be a high volume of customers…( I’m sure pick and pay is aware of that )But to my surprise there were only 3 ladies working at the tills..Is it because this Pick and Pay is located in Soweto therefore it’s okay for black people to stand for so long in the queue?..I can’t afford to go buy my groceries at a Pick and Pay located in the suburbs to avoid the 2 hour queue, Where there are more employees to make sure that the queue moves faster .. “THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME IVE STOOD FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR AT PICK AND PAY DIEPKLOOF ZONE 4”
Pick and Pay can hire more people to avoid customers spending so much time in the queue.. There are other stores in diepkloof square that get full however I’ve NEVER STOOD FOR 2HOURS IN THE QUEUE ..
Please respond with more than “just an apology “but an action plan on how to minimise customers standing in the queues for 2HOURS.. You can also respond with a solution for my sore ,swollen feet and sore body/back.
