Truck Driver Try To Force Me Off The Road

<p>Today the 06/08/2017 between 20:00 and 20:03 I was traveling on Jakes Gerwel Drive heading towards Mitchells Plain with my girlfriend and her mom and dad in the car. I had come over the bridge that goes over waltervreden drive and saw your pick n pay truck coming up the onramp to Jakes Grewel Drive. I was doing 80kph and the truck was not even any where near that speed coming up the onramp. I moved over to the far left lane as I always do in accordance with the road traffic act which states keep left pass right. Please note I was approximately a 50 to 100 meters ahead of your delivery truck when I went over to the the far left lane and I was also abiding by the speed limit which is governed to 60kph after the merger of the onramp from weltevreden onto jakes grewel.</p> <p> </p> <p>Your driver came racing up behind me and started flashing his lights at me as to say I must move out of his way. I could not go any faster nor could I have moved over as cars were passing me and I had traffic infront of me and I was abiding the traffic restriction that is in place, he proceeded to follow me at a unsafe following distance I estimate at less then 2 meters putting my life and my girlfriends life and my girlfriends mom and dads life in danger. Flashed his lights at me another 2 times before we reached the turn off from jakes grewel onto the r300, whereby he then proceeded to drive into the yellow lane and come up beside us and gave a slight swerve as to try push us off the road from the left side. </p> <p> </p> <p>I could not get a registration number as he was so close to the rear end of my car that I could not see his registration number and then when he was next to us where we could possibly see he switched on his high beams so that we could not see. The traffic lights were red at the intersection of jakes grevel and r300 so I thought maybe I could get a glimps of his rear and well and behold there was no registration number on the rear of the horse. </p> <p> </p> <p>I know you have a fleet management system in place and you can track your trucks via gps. I would like actions to be taken against this driver and I would like to know what actions will be taken and when these actions will be taken. </p> <p> </p> <p>If nothing is done I will be forced to open a case at the relevent police stations for negligent and reckless driving and this will land up in court where you and the driver will be held liable for further actions.</p>
