Treating customers poorly

Today, on the 13.12.22, my daughter and myself went to go and purchase costumes at pick n pay clothing Lakefield at The Conservatory. We saw a costume with a reduced to R40. 00 sicker on it. When we went to pay it was R140. 00.

1. They made me wait for over 10 minutes while they went to go and check.

2. When I asked after this amount of time what is taking so long, they said they are watching the footage. ( like I am a ********!)

3. Clearly they saw nothing to show that I placed that price on the item, as they asked that I please pay the 140.00 and knew it was a staff error.

I never complain, not once. However, I myself am a senior store manager in a very big retail company and I have never treated 1 of my guests (customer) like this.

I will make sure to tell all I know to never shop at a pick n pay again.

This is disgusting service to say the least.

I left the store without the item and feeling like a common ******** after I did nothing wrong except wanting to shop at your store and this in front of my daughter.

Pathetic to say the least!
