Treated like a child

i went to pick n pay the Sunday evening, and bought almost R4000's worth of goods. (On average I spent R6000 a month at pick and pay, Helikonpark, Randfontein, due to my work). My husband was with me when we neared the till, and said to me something is smelling off. So I said to him it's something in our basket, we smelled every single product and couldn't find the source. When we got home, I opened the eggs and found the rotten egg.

The next morning I returned to the shop at 7 am, the security guard was standing outside the door with the manager. The security guard showed me that they are still closed and I got out the car with the eggs telling him, I'm already late for work and I must have the fresh eggs before I go to work, as I will use the eggs at work. The manager didn't even bother to be polite or to say sorry for the in-convenience caused. I wasn't rude, actually for a customer who has to return to the store for rotten products I was super polite. I even said to the manager may I PLEASE exchange the eggs. He told me to go and fetch eggs from the shelf myself, I did this without saying a word or being rude. When I left he just gave me a rude look and slammed the door clos
