TREAT ALL THE SAME
Pick n Pay Carletonville has the rudest employees. At the end of the day all unsold bakery items are being sold for a much cheaper price. The other day I took some of these items out of the trolley standing by the bakery as I am doing for the past couple of years. An elderly couple also took a few items, it is then that the employee grab it out of their trolley and say "this is only for employees" the elderly couple just stood there. I went to the office asking them about this and the asst Manager Mr Masela shouted to me that it is his shop and he can do what he wants to. I asked him if I can have some of the old items which he said they are throwing away, while the employee at the bakery was throwing all the cream dougnuts, pies, panini's inside a big bag and saying that this will be thrown into the garbage bin outside. He told me that it is not allowed as they won't assist me if I get sick. On a daily basis they are throwing out a lot of out dated items into the garbage bin, "old' vegetables and other groceries are given to a house where people stay which doesn't have anywhere else to go. I asked if I may just get some of it to give to family members which also battle and to a car watch near my house who is looking after his siblings and I try and give them somethings sometimes. But they told me to go the church or the places where I can get letters before they can help me...…… Really must I be so step down further just because I am trying to help people??? According to them the employees are the only ones which may buy marked down items...…………………….. WHY??? ARE THEY THE ONLY SOUTH AFRICANS WHO CAN'T LET THE POT COOK EVERY DAY???? WHY NOT LET ALL PEOPLE BENEFIT FROM MARK DOWNS???? I AM SURE AS HELL THAT THERE ARE MANY ITEMS WHICH CAN BE MARKED DOWN AND PLACED FOR EVERY ONE WILLING TO TAKE THE TIME TO GO TO THE SHOPS. When you ask them when they will mark down they say in the morning, when you get there in the morning they say later during the day, why not marking it down say from 17:00 in the afternoon so that ALL people can benefit from it???? They are throwing away A LOT of food which I would buy for a cheaper price, why not at least let everyone battle. When I enter the door at PicknPay Carletonville the employee by the bakery (Lea especially) starts talking bad about me in her language and telling near by employees to take the trolley with the mark downs away or she quickly pushes the trolley inside the bakery. Waiting a few minutes you see how the EMPLOYEES come out with all the mark downs hold aside for them, bakery items, potatoes, vegetables, dog food, flour, name it all for the cheapest prices imaginable. IS THIS FAIR????????
