Totally unimpressed

Three weeks ago, whilst shopping in P&P, Hout Bay, I reached up, to get a can of furniture polish off the shelf, and suddenly, I was in such immense pain!!! Cans were balancing on a plastic price hanger and fell, cutting 2 of my toes, quite deeply. The pain was excruciating.

I told the the manager before I hobbled out of the store. I noted he was a trainee manager, and tried to be pleasant.

I had to write an accident report, which I duly did, and was told the footage had to be checked. The trainee manager since, told me the footage was checked.

The next thing I get an email from their insurance company asking for the accident report, which, once again, I sent. There has been no interest in my well being, just their insurance company wanting details.

I have asked time and time again for an apology from Pick and Pay. Not a word from them. I was, initially, going to seek legal advice, but decided against it. I was hoping for some sort of communication from them, but the only communication has been from their insurance company. Clearly the only concern is a possible claim, and not their customer, nor their service.
