Totally Dissappointed

Today we went to Pick n pay hyper to buy the Gas cylinder and Alva Gas burner,got to the till to pay, Gas cylinder went through but not the Gas burner, the cashier called the Supervisor, Supervisor advised that the Gas burner did scan before not sure why but if it doesn't scan it means, it's on lockdown but she's also confused because it's an essential product, I asked for a rain check was told to go to information, got to information they said they can't issue a rain check, requested to speak to a Manager, Manager came and told me that the Gas burner can't be sold because it's not essential.. I was surprised because they sold me the cylinder and when I asked why the cylinder but not the burner, the manager said it's because it goes with the gas heater, so the gas heater is essential but not a gas stove to cook food.. Wow... Pick n Pay Hyper Princess crossing amazed me.. I'm really surprised because other shops are selling the gas burners but not pick n pay and yet it was not even red tapped like the other products in the store.. Wasted Petrol and still did not get what I went for.. So dissappointed..
