Tills close early/ Managers all gone home

I was shopping at Pick 'n Pay East Rand Galleria today. At 5:55pm I wanted to pay for my goods. The cashier put up a "Till closed" sign as I was approaching and refused to help me. I then proceeded to try and find other cashiers but all them except about 3 had put closed signs up causing very long queues at this time of the month.

I asked to speak the manager and was referred to Thuli. Thuli told me the agreement with the union was that cashiers had to be cashed up by 6pm and there was nothing she could do. I asked to speak to the general manager, Gavin van der Vlies but was told that all the managers had gone home and that she did not have their e-mail addresses.

Pick 'n Pay Boksburg, used to be a one stop, pleasure to shop at store. Clearly no longer!
