This Batch is Not From My Store

<p>I went to Pick 'n Pay (The Crescent) on the 15th of March and purchased an Aquafresh mouth wash. <br /><br />I went home that night and realised (after using the mouth wash) that the mouth wash was in fact expired (BN374B, EXP 080816).</p> <p> </p> <p>I returned to PnP this afternoon, to return the product. The manager, Duncan, basically told me that the bottle I was returning was not from his store. The receipt that I bought the product with was from the store, but the bottle isn't - and he needs to do further investigations around where the bottle came from.<br /><br />I was confused at first - and asked him to explain further. He says that he needs to contact the supplier to find out where that batch came from because it's unlikely that just one with that batch number was in his store. <br /><br />I asked if he was implying that I was lying - and he said that if i wanted to put words in his mouth that it was fine. <br /><br />He did offer me another bottle - but I was too furious to accept it. </p> <p> </p> <p>I am livid. And so disappointed. </p> <p> </p>
