*******

I was at the till , my groceries accumulated to R 723 . I requested that the Cashier draw R 450 from my card and I gave her cash of R400 as the balance . I KNOW this because I was not sure of the difference I thought I should rather be safe and give her R 400. I received R 27 change, at the time i did not realise. I got to my car and stopped thinking wait a minute the change is incorrect , looked at my slip and she put R 300 cash received instead of R400.I quickly turned back and requested to speak to Shaun the manager on duty. He agrees to do a spot check on the till . We approached the cashier , guilty look on her face . To my luck the systems were down and they could not do the spot check there and then . Shaun promises to call me the next day. In good faith i leave. Shaun calls the next day , i miss the call as i was at church. I return the call today and to my surprise , he says that the till balanced . SO AM I A **** ?..Anything could have happend in the time the so called systems were down to the time the till was checked. Anything could have happened and if the systems were operational or better yet they had honest staff i would not have been cheated , yes it is only R100 but its my R 100 no one elses and no one has the right to take from me . So keep your R 100 it is ok but i will tell everyone and anyone how Princess crossing Pick n Pay stole from me
