They stole my son’s medication money

I made a return on Monday 29 December 2025. Upon getting to the store to do the return we were told they had no cash and gave us 2 options: 1. Come Back later and hope they have gotten enough cash from the day’s sales or, 2. They can refund to a Capitec card or any credit card. We asked and confirmed 3 times that off we chose the credit card option that the money would reflect immediately which the consultant said yes to. We did that and 12 hours later the money still hadn’t been paid back. We went back the next day and their manager said that it’ll take 3 days but she’ll call head office. We went back later that day and head office is saying it’ll take 7 days. This money is for my child’s medication which I let them know but they don’t care and just said “sorry” and shrugged. They’ve continued to lie to me and with the public holidays coming up this means that my child must either go without the medication they NEED or I must now go make a loan which will incur interest just to provide for them. All because Pick n Pay is withholding my money. I do not owe them anything at all and didn’t even shout. So, that’s it. Whatever happens to me and my child from here is a “sorry” and a shrug. After they ****!
