The Secondary School Dictionary

On Saturday afternoon I entered PnP, Sanbel building in Bellville. I purchased a school dictionery for my son. The shelf prices for dictionaries were R159.99 and R179.99. I chose the more expensive one.

When I got to the till, it scanned at 229.99. I took this to the manager to correct it. He took me to the isle to check pricing and took me to the cashier at the front of the store.

He then proceeded to resolve the issue arround why it was incorrectly labeled on the shelf and kept me waiting, instead of correcting the price on my till slip.

He then felt the need to explain why the the scanned price is correct and that it must have been packed incorrectly.

There was no price tag for R229.99 and I told him that I needed the dictionary and that I should have it at the price advertised.

He looked at me and absolutely refused to give it to me at the price that it had been marked at.

His attitude was appalling. PnP Bellville, you will never see me again.

I rarely confront people and when I do, I don't like arguements but the service in the Northern Suburbs stinks in general and it is because of representitives like the manager at PnP - Bellville!
