The most sustained lack of service I have ever encountered

I am reviewing the Gardens Centre branch of Pick 'n Pay, located in Gardens Centre, Oranjezicht, Cape Town. I used to buy from them 3 to 4 times a week - I now only use them when I can't find an item at Woolworths, located in the same centre. This means I pay a premium for my groceries, but I gladly do it in order to avoid the surly staff, the worst cash register service I have ever experienced, and a store manager more intent on defending and denying the appalling service than fixing it. The best thing that could happen to Gardens Centre would be for Pick 'n Pay to be replaced by Checkers - let's keep hoping!
