The Grilled Chicken Won At Last!!!

I like #supportlocal so I use PicknPay Franschhoek to do grocery shopping. Once a week I buy their pre-cooked chicken. For such a small store they have an excellent deli, with all sorts of nice meals and cakes, etc. When I started buying there 8 years ago, their pre-cooked chickens tasted great. After a year or two the chickens were lighter and lighter, rubbed with lots of spices, which meant you only realized this once you got home. What you had received then, was a basically boiled chicken. It smelled like it and once you started cutting, it also looked like it with lots of pink meat around the bones and worst of all, it also tasted like a boiled one. So I ( and apparently other customers too) started complaing about it. There wasn't really any improvement for the longest time and then suddenly the last chicken I bought was beautifully roasted, tender inside and no pink meat around the bones. It tasted very, very good, like grilled chicken for a change and not the 'boiled' chicken like it did for months before. I would like to let all chicken *****s in Franschhoek vicinity to know that they can go back to PnP for their grilled chicken again!!! They won't be sorry.
