The customer is king: Why should I wait for a cashier on a tea-break?
Date 12th November 2020 at 08h34 (check your surveillance cameras) I have no idea why is Pick & Pay tolerating such incompetence at the expense of customers. I went to Pick & Pay, Park Meadows on the morning of the 12th November to buy a USB stick worth R129. I was redirected to a counter where the item was kept but there was no one serving customers. I requested assistance but was told that the cashier is on a tea-break, and that I should walk around the store and come back later. I asked the supervisor why I should wait for someone on a tea-break at 08h34, being told to walk around for her convenience even though I am a customer? I told the supervisor (tongue-in-cheek) that she wouldn't want a bad review if I was asked about my experience at Pick and Pay, Park meadows, of which she rep**** that I was being rude to her. She clearly did not understand the gravity of my situation and problem. She rationalized her position and saw nothing wrong, which I stated that Pick and Pick Park Meadows is not a ****a. I left, went to Clicks and got my USB stick without waiting, without any excuses, which is what any customer wants.
