The Cheating Genie

The Christmas Genie competition was great - until it wasn't. We all thought Pick n Pay were finally giving back to the loyal customers, just spend R500 and you are guaranteed a prize. The closing date was clearly spelled out in the T's & C's as 23H59 on the 28 December 2025. When I went to claim my prize on the last day, I was told I did not qualify, despite the fact that I had spent the required amount. I called customer care and was told that the competition closed on the 24th. Instead of honouring their promise to me the consumer, I was simply dismissed - shame on you Pick n Pay. I am disappointed that like all big money making companies who think they have the monopoly your customer care really sucks!
