The Advert You See Is Never The Special / Sale Price You Pay!!!!!

Went to PnP Canal Walk earlier today... among the many PnP month-end specials was 2xRoberstson Refill Packs (for Herbs, Seasoning or Spices) for R25. At checkout, when the 2 packs I bought were not discounted to R25, I was 'eventually' told that it has to be the 'brown' packs!!!! Not sure about other people, but as far as I'm aware, Mixed 'Herbs' and Origanum are 'HERBS' (in the green Robertsons packs)? Anyway, went to the Cust.Service Desk....and it was a simple 'matter of fact' - thanks! Either somebody in your marketing dept or out-sourced equivalent is colour-blind or illiterate! (I'll try attached a photo of the advert brochure) Please stop trying to fool us! At Checkers the 'special' would have been honoured! By the way for those reading this now (29/06/2018), if you go to Makro, you can get 10 variety bottles (not refill packs) for R100., Not bad at all - but just bear in mind it is a Makro Brand and not Robertsons. (But I'm sure they both come from the same factory....)

Hello, Thank you for the telephone call yesterday to explain the problem and to advise that the issue has been resolved (Apologies - didn't quite catch the persons name who called). As I mentioned to her we'd be heading back to Canal Walk PnP in a couple of hours to do shopping. Which we did, and saw that the special was still on. My wife and I chuckled in frustration that the exact same error persisted! This time we paid, and went to customer service desk to have it resolved - which it was. Thanks for the effort nonetheless. PS : What the policy on your 'double the difference' for pricing errors? You have the sign up, but it never seems to be honoured.
