Terrible Customer Service with Insults
Good Day
I trust this email finds you well.
In my entire life I have never felt so disrespected and worthless by insults of a cashier in your Pick n Pay Parklands store in Cape Town. Wow.
I called into the store to do shopping, I went to the kiosk were I was "helped" by a female cashier by the name of "Ayanda Malawana". She didn't even greet me back, she just scanned my items without even asking me for a smart shopper card and wanted to conclude the transaction.
I asked to which Marchant can I use to do "Cardless scanning" through my cellphone, she asked me if "can't i see it". I then genuinely asked her if the store will be open for business the following day. Her response was that "I should go read the trading hours board outside" with full of attitude. As shocked as I was i asked her why is she giving me so much attitude and bad customer service when I have done nothing wrong to her.
She ignored me, and asked me if i want plastic, I was astonished because she has already packed my items inside the plastic. I asked her not act stupid with me, she told me am the one whos stupid. should f# off. When I told her I will be reporting her behavior because it seemed like its something she does on regular basis. She told me to she doesn't care.
So I will do as she wishes which is to "f# off" because I believe she is an employee and a brand of the company, she was employed to represent the values and companies integrity. Which makes me wonder if shes living up to them but still represents such a big brand and reputation.
I would like to get feedback on the issue raised above to show thay you care for customers.
Thanking in advance, Regards Customer
