Stores aren't safe

This morning while standing in the queue waiting to pay for two items at the PnP at Southdale; a customer that insisted on standing close to me even though I had moved away from him twice already trying to maintain social distancing as much as possible, pulled a zap sign in my face and repeatedly swore at me just because I asked him to please stop standing close to me and asked him if he didnt understand social distancing. Another guy behind us alerted the security guard and made a hell of a noise to try get attention of the store staff while the staff just looked at us. While the security spoke to the guy and set him aside allowing me to pass and go to the cashier, what I assume was a supervisor, who had been standing there all along, asked the cashier what her friend's problem was, referring to the guy that had sworn at me, meaning she had seen everything but still said nothing to me. And only after the guy who called the security guard asked why no-one was saying anythig and asked what would have happened if the guy had actually physically attacked me, did the supervisor then only ask me what's going on. I felt it was too late and she clearly wasn't bothered to begin with. So I walked out of the store. I feel the store staff members are very insensitive and couldnt be bothered by the safety of their customers or rather lookout for their regulars more.
