Store unable to exchange faulty appliance due to unwritten contracts

<p>I bought a Sunbeam sandwich press model SSP-400B in July last year and this weekend it didn't power up anymore.</p> <p>When I took it back to Pick n Pay The Bridge, management were very polite and helpful however because I've had the sandwich presser for over 6 months they can't exchange it.</p> <p>On the catalogue inside the box it says it has a 12 month warranty and I don't see the 6 months anywhere.</p> <p>All I need is for the sandwich press to be repaired or replaced, not contractual stories that have nothing to do with me.</p> <p>I don't want to speak to the supplier, I didn't buy this from the supplier, I got it from Pick n Pay The Bridge hustle free, I want it sorted hustle free.</p>
