Store manager attitude

My bank has an agreement with Pick 'n Pay, I am able to make withdrawals at the Pick 'n Pay store till. The tills at Vaal Mall did not have enough cash, and each time a new queue had to be joined only to find out that the cashier was not able to assist. When I brought this to the store manager's attention, I was informed that the store manager does not keep money in store, and that it is his personal policy not to keep money for these transactions in store. To the store manager Eugene Fourie, please remember that you are employed by Pick 'n Pay to make sure the store follows Pick 'n Pay's policy. NOT your own. If you have concerns with Pick 'n Pay's policies and their agreements with the banks they deal with, please take it up with your management. As a customer, if there are policies in place to assist me, then you should be enforcing those very same policies which you admitted to trying to stop.

I will not be walking into Pick 'n Pay Vaal Mall anytime soon.

Reviewer Update

I was called by two Pick 'n Pay employees, both full of apologies , and was promised that the store manager would call me with an apology. It's been more than a week, no store manager apology yet. So the 'I don't care' attitude is ongoing.

Pick 'n Pay Vaal Mall, you've definitely seen the last of me. Don't even bother calling me with your false promises!
