Store card staff are pathetic

Absolutely shicking service and treatment by the store card staff. We were at Pick n pay Ottery today to make a purchase and used the store card for payment. It was declined and the lady at the till said there was issues with store card purchases earlier. We were put through to the store card team who firstly kept hanging up and when we got through would pretend to put us on hold while muting themselves hoping we will end the call. Worst customer services ever. We were at the store over an hour with my autistic grandson who's entire routine got thrown and upset due to this. I work night shift and had to eventually give up and just go home. The staff at the store were amazing and tried so hard to help, needless to say their efforts were in vain due to the *********** staff in your call center. Pathetic service!!!! I had to use my pettol money to pay for the items my grandson had already opened while waiting so long as he was hungry. My store card has credit and is up to date, the issue was internal yet it wasn't resolved. I hope those calls were recorded and they get reviewed, the staff who handled the calls honestly should not be working if they are not going to help. Again, I want to thank the store staff as they were amazing, your call center staff is pathetic
