Stikeez - no stock
Pick n pay isn't my preferred shop, however due to my child collecting stikeez I went there today. I purposely bought more groceries than normal & also bought the items on promotion for extra stikeez. Only when I was at the till did the cashier tell me that they had run out of stikeez ( 18 days before the promotion ends). I was due 32 stikeez & I asked if the manager could write on my slip that I didn't receive them & I was rudely told that they can't do that, & that I can't collect them from another pick n pay. Apart from the rude, disinterested staff I feel cheated. This is false advertising from pick n pay - how can you run a promotion & not run out of stock more than 2 weeks before the promotion ends & then not notify people that you're out of stock. You have no problem luring the customer in your doors & then offering zero customer service. I'm entitled to my stikeez & clearly think the consumer council will agree!
