Stale Fish
I am a regular shopper at Pick n Pay and especially at Brigh****er Commons.
We buy fish from this store almost every week and have always enjoyed the fish as it is fresh and tasty and this leaves us coming there every week.

On the 24 Mar, I bought fish, the Panga's and the fish was not loking the best. I asked the assistant, if I remember, it was Henry (I think) if the fish was fresh and he said it was fresh and I again asked him if he was sure as it is not looking very good and he confirmed that it was fresh.

Anyway, I place my order and he does the fish for me like I usually take it.

When I arrived home, and we had supper, the fish was stale and like rubbery - my wife was quite disappointed and we then threw the fish away as it was clearly stale.
I would have driven back to the store but I arrived home late and the store is about a 20 minute drive from my house.

As I have mentioned, I buy fish almost every week and this was the first occasion where I have had this problem as I have bought fish here for over 2 years - what happened?
Why is the stale fish being sold? Should these not be discarded or removed instead of being sold?

Neville
