Stale bread
My Mom bought 4 loaves of white bread from Pick n Pay in Florida. I believe the bread is freshly baked and according to my knowledge bread shelf life is supposed to be 3 days minimum depending on the brand others take 4 to 5 days. This afterniin as i was preparing lunch for the kids after school i tried slicing the bread with the bread knive as yesterday i used a different knife and it crambled so i thought I should use a bread knive and today the bread was worse. It was as if i was grating it the way it just fell apart and there were crumbs everywhere, so i figured that maybe I should slice bigger slices but that didn't help also. I served the bread to tge kids and they couldn't eat it as it was just falling apart as they tried to take a bit, I ended up having to press it and make ***** in order for them to be able to eat. I'm very disappointed in Pick n Pay honestly, their bread quality is a miss for me. I will never buy bread from pick n pay ever again
