Staff wont have a job if there are no customers so why do staff act the way they do?
The level of service received at your Malvern/Queensburgh store yesterday was beyond disgusting. Pick n Pay really need to do something about the management at the store. I asked for assistance at the bakery counter and was told that I cannot be assisted as there is only one person manning the bakery and the current staff member I was speaking too only works the sushi section( there were 4 staff members behind the counter). I then asked if they work for pick n pay to which I was met with a blank stare. A manager named Thiren was standing there so I brought to his attention the continuous lack of service at the bakery counter, a daily occurance with this store. He said he would speak to the staff. I left to continue my shopping. I had to double back to use that cold meat deli section and stood watching all the staff behind the counter discuss me openly with other customers. This behaviour from staff members is totally unacceptable. I went to get the manager again for assistance to which he just huffed at me as if Im frustrating him so much at having to deal with this situation. I left my entire grocery cart and walked out. I will not support a store with such arrogance and poor service delivery. I do demand a physical apology from both store manager on duty that day as well at the staff involved in the incident.
