Staff are only as good as their management

<p>Pick n pay Florida,roodepoort. As usual one has to deal with their unfriendly staff (Cashiers, bakery staff) who think they're doing the customer a favour. Most of them don't greet, or even go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The condition of the store itself (Cleanliness) is ridiculous. </p> <p> </p> <p>When you address your concerns with their management, all you get is "we will look into it" or, they blame the staff. Really? Management has a responsibility to ensure their staff is friendly at all times and the store is running efficiently. Not bring out the BLAME game. There is one specific manager "jaun" who can't even deal with complaints, beats around the bush and uses slang when addressing a customer. Was this gentlemen even trained in basic customer service s****s?Highly unprofessional. </p> <p>Furthermore, you have another young lady (supervisor or whatever her title is at the store) sitting on her phone most of the time, giving more instructions to staff then actually getting involved.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please, I trust the head office will look at the calibre of management who has a responsibilty to ensure that all their staff are kept to standard, including the store as well. </p> <p> </p> <p>This is not the first time I have complained about this store, the last time i sent through a complaint, the Regional manager got involved and they sent in a some manager who got the store we it should. Ran smoothly for months until he had left. </p> <p> </p> <p>Now we back to square one. Management can not continue the way they do. If they not up to standard, so will the cashiers and packers etc.</p> <p> </p> <p>Trust the head office will get back to me as soon as possible. </p>
