spoken to badly in store by store manager
Today my boyfriend and I were treated very badly at Queensburgh Pick n Pay but the store manager named Duncan. This man spoke to me very impolitely and made me very upset.
I tried to buy my first TV as an adult at this store and I tried to purchase my TV license but unfortunately the Pick n Pay was offline with SABC. So I purchased the TV yesterday and left it at the store until this morning.
This morning I phoned the Pick n Pay and specifically asked if SABC was back online at the store and I was told no, its still offline so I made the executive decision to do the TV license at the post office and then pick up my TV from the store.
I get to the store to fetch my TV and was very rudely told that I would not be able to leave with my TV because the proof of TV license was not enough. I was then told by the store manager that if I did not like his way of doing things in the store then he would refund me and I would not be allowed the TV at the same price I paid for it. His demeanor and customer service was appalling considering the circumstances and the way he spoke to me (as a woman) was unacceptable.
