Spoiled cheese

Having a complaint about the spoiled cheese we got from Pick n Pay Bara Taxi rank Soweto, it had a 2019 best before. We were being told it's not possible that they had the cheese by their fridge, but we had the receipt to prove we bought it from them till they told us we can take whatever that's calculated to the cheese price, these no compensation we will get.unless it's an exchange. I asked what if he reacts from the cheese they stated they then can help us if get sick
