Special displays deliberately misleading customers to **** them out of advertised specials.

I went to Pick'nPay The Grove on Sunday to purchase a few grocery items as well as a kettle that was on special along with a bag of sugar. My mom and I was walking around the shop looking for the kettle that was on special and saw a shelf advertising the specific special I was looking for with the kettles packed on the shelf as wel as 2Kg bags of sugar on the same shelf and nothing else. I was in a rush to find another shop open and didn't have time to specifically read the fine print but also didn't expect my local Pick'nPay to try and **** me... boy was I wrong! I went to the till and luckily the lady ringing up my items noticed that I have the kettle in my trolley as well as a bag of sugar and asked the manager/supervisor when it didn't go through as the special. The manager/supervisor then told me that the special is for the 1Kg sugar, not the sugar that they put next to the kettles where they were displaying the special!

I took pictures of the deliberately misleading display. This is absolutely unacceptable to try and **** shoppers out of a special that you advertise left right and center!
