special but no stock

my petrol wasted for what. i travelled to three different stores, Boulders, Sandridge and Midway Mews because i wanted to buy some FRYS vegetarian products as they care currently on special. imagine i choose PNP than Spar which is right close and to my surprise there was not stock in all three stores. how can there be no stock if the special just started. this is not the first time that i find items on specials are on stock AND WHATS FUNNY IS THAT it will only be the items on special and the special just started
