Sour cream - Trifle disaster

<p>I bought cream on the 24th December for the trifle that I was going to make, this would then feed my family as well as friends after our Christmas meal. The trifle was served to all the guests, only to bite into the cream and find that it was sour. What a disaster... can you imagine no trifle after the Christmas meal.. </p> <p>I did see that the expiry date on the cream was still in good order, thus tells me that the fridge that it was kept in was not cool enough or it was left out in the heat on the hot days prior to being put into the cooler rack. This is not the first time that I have had the experience with cream bought from the store. I am more than unhappy as I feel our Christmas lunch was ruined by this issue ... not to mention such as waste of money for the rest of the ingredients that went into the trifle. Such as:</p> <p>Trifle cake - Jelly - custard powder - Milk - peaches - Brandy - nuts as well as the cream... what a waste of money , time and effort. .... 2x2 trifles made... I am not a happy customer at all</p> <p>Kim</p>
