Something smelly

I have on several occasions had rotting fresh produce, cheese that turns mouldy, and the latest is 13 out of 30 eggs have been rotten. When I approached Cindy she informed me that I should have returned this product and asked for a cash slip and the eggs. I do not keep rotten eggs and did not ask for a refund or replacement. I have handed a letter to her and requested an investigation and reply to my concerns. I did not appreciate being given a lecture on her lack of X-ray vision and I fail to see her point - in particular about the rotten eggs. How many people will go back to a retail outlet every time an egg is found to be rotten - clutching onto one egg at a time? The cost of fuel far exceeds the cost of simply disposing of these - maggots and all

Thank you for your response. This outlet is Pick n Pay, a Family Store franchise. It is situated at the Lemon Tree shopping centre, Swartkoppies Road, Newmarket, Alberton. Please not that I did not request a refund or replacement of these products, but merely wanted to make them aware of the poor quality of certain produce. I am so disappointed as I have alwaays had excellent service previously
