Some people get preferential treatment

Yesterday at around 15:00, we were waiting in the line at Bronkhosrtspruit Pick 'n Pay. The queue was growing quite long with several elderly people waiting patiently in the queue. I was standing about 10th in line, when 2 people with Midas shirts walked past to the security guard, spoke to him and he then let them in immediately. When I inquired as to what the reason were for them to get preferential treatment. The Security guard immediately got very defensive and almost shouted at me that they "midas workers" are essential and that they were on lunch and that is why they can go in... I was also in my branded work clothes and told the security guard that I was on lunch too, but had to wait in queue and he responded that I should have gone and spoke to him... Now, I really think that forcing the elderly to stand in a queue but allowing two young and able "Midas" workers to jump the queue is really bad practice. I can really not see how going to the shop in your lunch time (2 hours before Midas is about to close) can be seen as an emergency to be allowed to jump the queue. What is the security guard going to say if 20 people go straight to him 13:00 today and claim they are on lunch? If it was a emergency or healthcare worker I would have fully understood, but a Midas worker, just like myself who is also working throughout lockdown should not be given preferential treatment just because its obvious she knows the security guard.
