Social Hour

So I was at Pick 'n Pay in Pinelands on the 27th.

I did my shopping, got a few things, people on the floor where helpful and everything was good...until I got to the tills.

Took about 5minutes for someone to even start helping me. they were allstanding around chatting like I wasnt there. This is after the fact that someone had called me over to her till.

Every now and then she would stop scanning my items, turn around and start talking to someone else. It took her 3 tries to get someones attention to come bag up my items. It took longer for me to pay for my items then it did to collect them all.

I dont undertand how any manager could let their staff stand around and just chat to each other when there are customers waiting and in the middle of being served. I found this to be highly unprofessional and insulting that I couldnt have someones attention for 5 minutes.

The service was discusting to say the very least.
