SOCIAL DISTANCING IGNORED
Today I went to the Pick&Pay in Norwood, the one on Louis Botha. After shopping, I went to pay and 2 customers did not observe social distancing around me. They were both standing next to each other and both next to me. I told them to "please, social distance" and they refused and instead attacked me verbally. The cashier ignored me and I started calling out for someone to please come and administer social distancing. The supervisor, Ellen, came and cleared the shopping baskets instead and IGNORED me. I was left to fend off the customers by myself. Reminding them that "SOCIAL DISTANCING" is a requirement.
This situation has left me wondering whether it's okay for Pick&Pay to make my shopping at their store so vulnerable and dangerous? Will I ever be comfortable shopping there? By the way they are 100meters from my office. Why should I shop there again when customer relations and complaints are ignored? I am soooo DISAPPOINTED and DISGUSTED!!!
