Smartshopper staff pathetically under trained

I'm highly disappointed with PnP Smartshopper.

Firstly the sms they send out to their customers is highly misleading, secondly the consultant that was dealing with my complaint had no listening s****s which made me angry. I was enquiring about my birthday points and the sms sent and she kept going on about other vouchers.

So I asked to speak to her manager. This manager, Henry Smit, was obviously debriefed about my call and was already biased against me. I was speaking about the situation and I was angry and guess what he did, he interrupted me and DEMANDED I don't use vulgar language. Now this really ****ed me off so I said **** you. He hung up in my ear.

So of course this has infuriariated me so I called back to speak to his manager, who is Quinton. Quinton was in a meeting and would call me back shortly. This was around noon on Tuesday the 25th September 2018 and it is now 21:15 on Wednesday 26th September and still nothing from Quinton. I waited in the parking lot of that PnP for Quinton to call and after 15min of dying in the sun I left knowing full well I couldn't answer his call.

So this is where this all could've been avoided: 1. PnP Smartshopper stops sending out misleading smses 2. Their customer care consultants must have LISTENING S****S if they want to work on the phone 3. Henry Smit should've as per ALL Customer Care Training around the world, waited for me to finish, then politely have said "Ma'am I will assist you, however before we proceed can I kindly request that you refrain from using vulgar language from here on 4. Henry also must learnt to answer the phone in such a manner that the customer can't hear that they are an irritant to Henry. No smile? Sounded a lot irritated! 5. No matter how bad a customer is you NEVER put the phone down in their ear! Your job as a Customer Care representative is to assist the client and to try and ensure the sitation is dealt with NOT anger the client more which is what Henry did when he slammed his ****ing phone down in my ear! 6. If you say to a customer you will call back shortly, DO SO SHORTLY! 7. Both Quinton and especially Henry has brought PnP into ill repute by acting outside of the training I KNOW they received upon joining PnP! In all my years I have never been so angry with a client no matter what they said to me and trust me getting a death threat is even worse than **** you, I NEVER hung up on them! So according to YOUR contract its a dismissable offence is it not? Henry's behaviour is despicable and seeing as I know someone pretty well in the HR department of PnP and seeing as Quinton refuses to call me and handle this, should I rather go straight to HR where there will be no hush hush cover up and both manager land up in disciplinary hearings with their jobs on the line? 8. Had all three of these people just done their jobs within basic customer care training, this would not have gotten this bad.

I am already a irregular customer of PnP because of the basic lack of service in store, now I have to deal with pathetic and bad customer service from the call centre staff? I don't think so! You can stick those bonus points up your asses. R10 bonus points for my birthday? Wow! I can buy **** all with that!
